Read Across America Day
On Monday, March 2nd, Right at Home of Essex County participated in Read Across America Day at Camden Street School in Newark, New Jersey. Melodie, co-owner of Right at Home, had the opportunity to read a book about friendship to a group of pre-school children. The National Education Association brings Read Across America year-round to help motivate kids to read.

We admire the LEST WE FORGET project by photographer Luigi Toscano because it helps to preserve the dignity of those who are often forgotten. Through the loving care we provide, we aim to join Toscano and others in preserving that dignity and, thus, improving the quality of life for our community.
Dementia Care Training
Congratulations to sixteen Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who completed two hours of Dementia Care training during an intensive workshop recently conducted by Certified Dementia Practitioner, Vivian Green Korner.
Purim Celebration at JCC Metro West's Senior Center in West Orange
Right at Home of Essex County sponsored a fun party for the Jewish holiday of Purim at the JCC Metro West's Senior Center in West Orange, NJ. There was plenty of entertainment which consisted of dancing and reenacted story telling as well as enjoying traditional foods such as Hamantaschen.
