Don Orlando – Co-Owner Right at Home
Don is the co-owner of the Right at Home office that has been servicing the community since February 2011. Don and his wife, Peggy, are committed to provide optimum care for all the clients they serve and to walk away feeling they made a difference for the client and family members.
Prior to joining Right at Home, Don worked at Pitney Bowes for 23 years as an Account Manager, Division Sales Director, and Director of Federal Government Portfolio. Born and raised in Baltimore and graduating from Towson State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications in 1984, Don has always been involved with his community.
On a personal note, Don and Peggy were high-school sweethearts and have two (2) sons, Paul and Jack. Don enjoys sports, especially golf and baseball, and enjoys attending concerts and plays.
Paul Orlando – Community Liaison
Paul Orlando joins Right at Home following in his family’s footsteps of servicing the Harford and Baltimore County community with their homecare needs. Paul is the Community Liaison for the Harford and Baltimore County area and serves as a Senior Consultant for Right at Home clients and partners. He has a true passion for building relationships and looks forward to establishing long-term partnerships with associates in the health care industry of Harford and Baltimore County. Paul joins us after graduating from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and a Minor in Creative Writing/Journalism. During his time at Bloomsburg, Paul served as President of the Zeta Psi Fraternity, and led them to reach new records in community service hours.
Paul enjoys watching the Orioles and Ravens, going to the beach, and spending time with his dog.
Amanda Thompson – Director of Clinical Care Services
Amanda Thompson is the Director of Clinical Care Services at Right at Home Bel Air. She has her Master of Nursing Education degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Amanda has been in the nursing field for 20 years and has worked in various settings, including medical-surgical and emergency medicine. She enjoys learning about her clients so she can ensure they receive optimum care. Amanda wants to guarantee clients are satisfied and happy. Amanda has three sons and is a lifelong resident of Harford County. She enjoys the beach, reading and going hiking with her sons.
Lindsay Schachtner – Client Care Coordinator and In-Office Sales Representative
Lindsay Schachtner is the Client Care Coordinator and In Office Sales Representative for Harford and Baltimore County. A local to Baltimore, she graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology and Minors in Health Care Management and Health Science. Growing with very involved grandparents led to her passion and commitment to the care of older adults. Lindsay’s position with Right At Home allows her to be the Client Liaison and build bonds with all our clients and their family members. Client satisfaction is her top priority and like her Grandfather always says, “You do the best you can.”
Mary Haglauer – Human Resources Manager and Recruiter
Mary Haglauer is the HR Manager and Recruiter for Right at Home Harford and Baltimore County. A local to Maryland, she has over 25 years of management experience and is the mother of five. Growing up with a large family herself, Mary has always been a champion for others. Mary’s position with Right at Home allows her to select caring and compassionate individuals to be our wonderful caregivers.
Christina Sanzone – HR Generalist
Born and raised in Harford County, Christina joined our team in February of 2018. After being a stay-at-home mom for nine years she was eager to get back to work. After her Grandmother spent time in a local nursing home she realized that choosing a field that would both help her community and the elderly was the perfect fit. Christina has been a great addition to our Right at Home staff.
