Right at Home of Ridgewood, NJ is looking for a Business Development Coordinator

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for the sales & marketing planning and execution of Right at Home assigned territory. These responsibilities include representing the Agency, finding and delivering qualified leads; and selling the Agency through investigating needs, advancing and demonstrating capability to qualified leads with the objective of reaching and maintaining budgeted census for the Agency. It is expected that the Business Development Coordinator complete any required training and become knowledgeable in Right at Home’s philosophy, principles of service, and applicable policies and procedures. As a key representative of Right at Home , the Business Development Coordinator is expected to promote Right at Home within local business and commerce communities.

Areas of Responsibility for The Business Development Coordinator

  • Sales Execution
    • Develop strategy for each prospect from initial inquiry through the final decision
    • Plan each customer interaction
    • Maintain a thorough working proficiency of prospective clients
    • Conduct pre screening of possible admissions and refer to Patient Care Coordinator for approval
    • Keep all prospect records current on computerized lead tracking system
    • Build customer focused relationship
    • Ensure that all Right at Home staff understand that marketing is everyone’s responsibility and are knowledgeable and trained in their role
    • Conduct weekly strategy and advisory meetings with the CEO and other Key staff to review sales activities
    • Keep records of all contacts, prospects & leads
    • Send thank you notes or gifts to all social workers, hospitals, doctors’ offices & potential sources of admissions
  • Advertising & Marketing Programs
    • Plan, direct & implement all advertising and promotional campaign for all Right at Home operations within provided budget to increase sales (census)
    • Closely work with key staff and others to generate ideas for client campaign and promotion
    • Work with the CEO to prepare a budget and cost estimates for promotions, campaign materials, gifts, souvenirs, calendars and other Right at Home advertising materials
    • Conduct an organize inventory control system of all Right at Home ’s marketing and promotional materials
    • Maintain an adequate supply of all Right at Home ’s marketing, advertising & promotional products & materials in an orderly & organized manner
    • Streamline and consistently monitor the effectiveness of all marketing programs currently in place
    • Plan and direct special events with in Right at Home Agency that combine advertising with incentives to increase sales (census)
  • External Business Development
    • Identify referral sources through site specific research
    • Act as primary company representative with emphasis on targeted referral sources for lead generation
    • Monthly planning and execution of external business presentations
    • Observe social, economic, and political trends that might ultimately affect the Agency operations and make recommendations to enhance the firm's image on the basis of those trends
  • Planning, Administration, Advising Management
    • Submit timely weekly Flash Report (sales results in terms of referrals & admissions)
    • Conduct monthly marketing meeting with the CEO.
    • Plan, advise and consult with CEO in preparation of Quality Marketing Plan
    • Conduct Bi-annual competitive research in pricing, ranking and evaluation
    • Advise management annually regarding pricing strategy
  • Target Census / Budgets
    • Strive to maintain monthly targeted census as determined by the CEO
    • Assist with the development of Agency annual sales and marketing budget
    • Monitor and mange the entire Marketing & Advertising budget & expenses
  • Communication & Quality Assurance
    • Possess a strong understanding of Right at Home and the services provided in order to effectively present Right at Home to prospects, staff, and influencers
    • Establish an open line of communication preferably via email to all concerned Right at Home staff regarding possible leads, room availabilities, tours, and or admissions
    • Attend Quality Assurance meetings as requested including:
      • Quality Assurance Committee
      • Clinical Meetings/Utilization review meetings
      • Staff Meetings
      • Marketing & Sales Meetings
    • Submit Quality Assurance reports assigned by the CEO
    • Monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services and they oversee product development
  • Other Duties as Assigned
