Alzheimer's Silent Auction Fundraiser in Santa Fe
Right at Home Santa Fe held a silent auction in conjunction with a Trivia Night fundraiser for Alzheimer’s held on June 9, 2017 at The Montecito, 500 Rodeo Rd., Santa Fe. The auction raised over $2600 for the New Mexico Alzheimer’s association and included over 50 items donated by local artists and businesses. Stacy Fischer (not pictured), Right at Home Marketing Director, was instrumental in setting up the auction and trivia challenge night and was recognized with a certificate of appreciate from the Association. Pueblo of Tesuque Annual Health Fair
Right at Home Santa Fe participated in the Pueblo of Tesuque's annual health and wellness fair held July 27, 2017. The Pueblo of Tesuque is located about 12 miles north of Santa Fe. More than 65 vendors had tables at the fair encompassing services ranging from dental and healthcare professionals to social services to Native American artisans. Vendors were given the opportunity to speak to the crowd about their services. Right at Home was the only home care company to participate.
Dementia Live Training at Sante Fe Community College
William Dudeck and Stacy Fischer, certified Dementia Live™ instructors, hold Dementia Live™ at Santa Fe Community College. The class, made up of CNA students, was taught on July 10 and 11. The students complete Dementia Live™ as part of their curriculum and before they enter clinicals in memory care at a local assisted living facility.
Twenty students in all participated. Dementia Live™ is a high impact, dementia simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia, resulting in a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory change.Participants often report that the experience changes their lives by helping them understand what it’s like to live with dementia and will help them care for their clients in a more compassionate way.

Use It Or Lose It: Alzheimer's Trivia Challenge
Stacy Fischer, marketing director for Right at Home of Santa Fe, accepts an award from David Davis, regional director for the NM Alzheimer's Association, in recognition of her hard work and dedication in planning and executing the 2nd annual trivia night for Alzheimer's. The event, titled Use It Or Lose It; Alzheimer's Trivia Challenge, was attended by over 200 medical professionals and business people from in and around Santa Fe.
Food and drink were provided as well as a silent auction with over 40 items. Attendees competed by answering 3 rounds of trivia questions and the winning team received a trophy and bragging rights. The event raised just over $6700.00 with all proceeds going to the New Mexico Alzheimer's Association.
UNM Cancer Center Gala

The event titled Lobos versus Cancer (http://lobos-vs-cancer.org/) marks the 10th year the UNM athletic department has joined forces with the UNM Cancer center to raise funds for research and other cancer programs. Dinner, cocktails, silent and live auctions and entertainment rounded out the gala event with UNM coaches, local business owners and executives and Governor Susanna Martinez in attendance. Proceeds, expected to top 500k, benefit research and patient programs at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center (http://cancer.unm.edu/).
Santa Fe Walk to End Alzheimer's Kick-Off Party

The Walk to End Alzheimer's will be on August 26th at 8:30am on the historic Santa Fe Plaza.
Case Management Society of America Annual Conference
The New Mexico chapter of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) held its 2016 annual conference this week in Albuquerque New Mexico. This year's theme, the tricks and treats of case management equals quality outcomes, is based on the premise that the expertise of the case manager's involvement in the delivery of healthcare leads to quality outcomes for the patient. CMSA is the only organization providing continuing education for case managers in the state. Case management professionals and home care companies such as Right at Home partner well in identifying the home care needs of seniors and ensuring they receive the assistance needed to keep them independent. The Albuquerque and Santa Fe Right at Home offices were pleased to be among the more than 50 vendors who exhibited at this event.
Santa Fe Fiestas
Right at Home participated in the 304th Santa Fe Fiesta parade as the golden girls. Santa Fe Fiestas is the oldest civic gathering in the nation. In the picture from left to right are Yesinia Cisneros, Nicolette Valdez, Abel Tarango and William Dudeck.
Right at Home Santa Fe held a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 3, 2016. The ceremony, hosted by the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, was attended by Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Right at Home employees, other business owners from the community and family and friends.
The ceremony was followed by refreshments and was paired with a fund raiser for the Alzheimer’s association.
William Dudeck attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for The Neighborhood, Rio Rancho's newest retirement and life plan community. The Neighborhood has close to 150 independent and assisted living apartments plus a skilled nursing facility on site. The Neighborhood opened in April of 2016.

Right at Home of Santa Fe participates in the annual Big Brothers and Big Sisters Mountain Region bowl-a-thon. The staff of Right at Home Santa Fe participated in the annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters Mountain Region bowl-a-thon. The event is the organization’s premier fund raising event for the year. The organization raised over $130,000 during this weekend event. The Right at Home Santa Fe team raised $395 for the organization.
